Keypop Support

Keypop Privacy Policy

Effective: November 2, 2026 · Operated by LOUNGEES

Keypop (the "App") handles as little personal data as possible. This page explains what the App and its keyboard (iOS keyboard extension / Android input method) do with information.

1. The keyboard never stores or sends what you type

  • The keyboard does not store, log or transmit what you type, in any form.
  • The keyboard contains no networking code and no third-party SDKs (no ads, no analytics).
  • The temporary buffer used to compose letters lives only in memory and is cleared right away.
  • On iOS, "Allow Full Access" is used only for key sounds, haptics and loading your themes. Typing works without it.

2. Information the App handles

  • Settings and designs (applied design, sound, languages, favorites, keyboards you made, coin balance, ad unlocks) are stored on your device. On iOS they may be kept in your own iCloud key-value storage to restore across devices with the same Apple ID; on Android they may be included in the device's automatic backup (Google account). They are never sent to our servers.
  • Payments: subscriptions and purchases are processed by the Apple App Store / Google Play. RevenueCat (a purchase management service) processes an anonymous user ID and receipt data to confirm purchases. The App never stores card details or other payment methods.
  • Anonymous usage records: to improve the service, the app records usage steps such as opening the app, creating and saving keyboards, and ad-unlock results on the Keypop server (Supabase). Only the hash of the same random identifier used for the Market, the app version, and the OS type are stored with them. Nothing you type and no personally identifying information is included, and records are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Downloading new designs and updates: our servers may keep standard access logs (IP address, time) for a short period.

The App requires no sign-up or login and does not collect your name, email, phone number or other personal identifiers.

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

Rewarded ads from Google AdMob are shown only in the App (never in the keyboard), for example to unlock items. AdMob may collect the advertising ID, approximate location (based on IP) and device information to deliver and measure ads. If you decline App Tracking Transparency on iOS, ads still work as non-personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. Market (shared keyboards)

When you share a keyboard you made to the Market, its name, design combination and the display name you choose become public. To run the Market (sharing, getting, reporting and coin rewards), the server (Supabase) stores only a hash of a random ID created on your device; it is not linked to any account or contact. You can remove what you shared at any time, and items with many reports are hidden automatically.

Photo stickers and photo designs: choosing a photo and removing its background happen on your device, and the original photo is never sent. Only when you share a keyboard with a photo to the Market, and after you agree, the finished image is sent to the Keypop server (Supabase) and Google AI (Gemini API) to check for inappropriate content and real faces. Only approved images are stored in the public Market storage; rejected images are not stored (only the result and an image hash are recorded). Photo stickers with a detected face are blocked on your device and never sent.

5. Children

Keypop can be used by everyone, including children. On first launch the App asks for the birth year once; it is stored only on the device and never sent. For users under 14 (or when the age is unknown):

  • No personalized ads — only G-rated ads suitable for children are requested from Google Play certified ad networks (Google AdMob) with child-directed settings.
  • The iOS tracking permission (ATT) is not requested.
  • Sharing to the Market is turned off (browsing and getting keyboards still work).

The App does not collect children's names, contacts or other personal identifiers. Parents can ask us by email to review or delete data related to their child.

6. Deleting your data

Deleting the App removes the settings stored on your device. Values kept in iCloud can be removed in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage. Keyboards you shared can be removed in the App under My Keyboards. To delete Market records (the hashed random ID and shared keyboards) or purchase records, email us with "Keypop data deletion request" and we will handle it within 30 days.
